If you are a non-U.S. citizen looking to applying for a Fulbright grant to study in the United States you will apply to the Fulbright Commissions/Foundations or U.S. Embassy in your home country.

Current U.S. Student

If you are a U.S. citizen currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program, please visit our Fulbright U.S. Student Program site.

U.S. Citizen but not a Student

If you are a U.S. citizen, hold a bachelor’s degree, and do not have a PhD degree then you could be eligible for certain awards within the Fulbright U.S. Student Program. Please review the program summary for the country where you would like to apply.

U.S. Professor

If you are a U.S. citizen and a professor at a U.S. institution and are interested in applying for a Fulbright Scholar Award you will need to apply through fulbrightscholars.org.

Non-U.S. Professor

If you are a non-U.S. citizen and a professor interested in applying for a Fulbright Scholar Award in the United States you need to apply through the Fulbright Commission or U.S. Embassy in your home country. Find out more information on the Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program.

Zammy Diaz Lebron is based in New York, NY and supports the Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) Program as an Advisor.

Zammy Diaz Lebron is an HR and international education professional specializing in people experience and learning and development. She enjoys helping organizations create supportive environments where people can grow and thrive. Her work involves coaching professionals and helping build programs that support talent development and people-centered cultures.

She is a graduate of the University of Puerto Rico, New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, and studied abroad at the Freie Universität Berlin.

Farzana Uddin is based in New York, NY, and supports the Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) Program as an Advisor.

Prior to joining the FLTA team, Farzana worked as one of the Program Coordinators for the Fulbright U.S. Student Program which administers grants for U.S. citizens to travel abroad to study, conduct research or teach English. She holds a BA in Psychology from Hunter College and an MA in Applied Psychology from New York University.

Having a background in Psychology and mental health, Farzana understands firsthand how life changes and new settings, no matter how exciting and invigorating, they may be can also become anxiety-provoking, and she is honored to help you navigate those challenges and experiences.
