On Jan. 20, our new president spoke of change, hope and unity. While
his focus was American society, these words had a different meaning to
a group of U.S. and Iraqi educators gathered in the U.S. ambassador's
residence in Baghdad to celebrate a new Iraqi project.
As one of
only 20 institutions that took the bold step of sending a
representative to the Iraqi Education Initiative Symposium, the
