Fulbright fellows from nearly 150 countries are joining together in a series of eight seminars across the United States to discuss important world issues and trends. These seminars, sponsored by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the Department of State and run by the Institute of International Education, are an integral part of the overall Fulbright experience. They are designed to support the Fulbright Program objective of promoting mutual understanding between people of the United States and the people of Fulbright partner countries. In this critical time in our history, mutual respect and understanding are vitally important as we all work to reach peaceful solutions to conflict.
